Admin Asst to Central Operations Team

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Serves as an assistant to Central Operations Team.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Answer incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate person or voice mail.  Take messages if needed.
  2. Monitor and orders office supplies as needed.
  3. Assist with clerical duties including filing, computer input, and reporting as requested.  Handles confidential and sensitive information.
  4. Coordinate proper coding, monitoring, and reporting for public funds deposits. 
  5. Review and process invoices received centrally for submission to Accounts Payable department. Perform research and error resolution as necessary.
  6. Assist with special projects assigned by management.
  7. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  8. Regular and reliable attendance.
  9. Communicate effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before and after regular business hours, if necessary.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of internal banking systems (Navigator, Director, etc.)
  • Skill in communicating with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Skill in multitasking.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous three to six years of banking experience.     
  • Previous experience with computer software.

More Details

8am to 5pm Monday - Friday. Not a remote position.
