ADMIN ASST LOANS

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Serves as an assistant to the Loan Officers.  Assists with clerical support.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Checks documentation in loan files.
  2. Does UCC searches, files liens and releases.
  3. Provide clerical support.
  4. Greets customers and answers phone.
  5. Assist Loan Officer with schedule and meetings.
  6. Regular and reliable attendance.
  7.  Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting.
  • Skill in communicating with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous banking experience or equivalent work experience.  
  • Previous experience with computer software.

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS:
Light Work:  Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negotiable amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.  Job involves sitting most of the time and if walking and standing required, only occasionally.
