COMPLIANCE ASST
Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
- Serves on bank management committee(s) responsible for the development of compliance policies and new product development.
- Prepares reports to the board summarizing results of all review and testing related to compliance.
- Assists with training branch employees on compliance issues.
- Provides daily support and assistance to branch locations as needed, as it relates to compliance.
- Reviews, approves, and maintains disclosure documentation for loan and deposit products, as it relates to compliance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Be available for internal and external compliance exams.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Knowledge of Reg AA, Reg B, Reg BB, Reg C, Reg CC, Reg D, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg H, Reg P, Reg Z, BSA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, GLBA, USA Patriot Act – Section 326.
- Knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
- Skill in operating computer terminals and printers and other various office equipment
- Skill in good communication and training.
- Ability to type with high level of accuracy, and an acceptable degree of speed.
- Ability to create an efficient work environment, paying close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous banking experience preferred.
