DEPOSIT SERVICES SUP

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provide leadership, mentoring/coaching, guidance and supervision for Deposit Department.  Insure that the quality and timeliness of branches request are met.  Performs duties of the Department as needed.  Responsible for workflow and completion of duties of the department. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Provides telephone/email customer service and support for external and internal customers regarding inquires and problem resolution.  Follow up to verify items have been resolved in a timely manner.
  2. Supervises, trains and assists all areas of Deposit Services Department.  Oversees that work is completed on time and is correct.  Schedules duties. Assists with annual reviews, hiring and terminations.
  3. Performs duties of Deposit Services Specialist I, II, and III.
  4. Works with Quality Control Officer and Compliance Officer on Audit and compliance issues.
  5. Work with mergers, consolidations, D-conversions and special projects.
  6. Coordinate with PDS on EIM processing.
  7. Works with Manger on departments budget and employee expenses.
  8. Other duties as assigned by management.
  9. Regular and reliable attendance.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Good customer service.  
  • Knowledge of ITI preferred.  
  • Must be able to operate a PC with keyboard accuracy and speed.  Must have knowledge of windows-based programs on either an IBM or Macintosh Computer.  
  • Must have good customer service skills and telephone courtesy.   
  • Must have the ability to work under pressure, constant interruptions while meeting deadlines doing assigned responsibilities.  
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-years Bank operations experience is required.  
  • Leadership and supervision of employees preferred.  
  • Must have prior experience in all levels of Deposit Services and be familiar with integration of all deposit accounts.

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS:
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negotiable amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
