LOAN ADMIN MANAGER

Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading, supervising and developing the Loan Administration team.  Maintain acceptable level of credit quality, demonstrate, and implement procedures and culture.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Processes loans, which include preparation work, computer input and follow-up. 
  2. Oversees loan administration team to ensure, policies and procedures are being followed, reporting is done in a timely manner, and completion of annual loan reviews and covenant testing requirements are met. 
  3. May assist with loan closings.
  4. Prepare reports for management.
  5. Assists with preparation of loans for loan committee, as needed.
  6. Establishes, maintains, and revises filing and record keeping articles, records, and other documents.
  7. Assists with customers in reference to loan questions or account questions.
  8. Assists will bill paying and GL entries.
  9. Exception tracking.
  10. Processes payments.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned.
  12. Regular and reliable attendance.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of loan processes and basic accounting.
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Skill in communicating effectively with management, customers, and co-workers.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to create an organized efficient work environment without supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to function as a team player.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience in banking.
  • Previous experience with computer software and bookkeeping preferred.
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
                                                          
Seeing:  75-100%
Must be able to greet customers, read documents, use computer                                                                                     
Hearing:  50-74%
Must be able to communicate with customers and co-workers                                                                                              
Standing/Walking:  25-49% 
Must be able to run errands for the bank, make large quantities of copies                                 
                                                                       
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling:  0-24%                                
 
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing:  25-49%
Must be able to lift files daily.                  
 
Fingering/ Grasping/Feeling:  75-100%
Must be able to use computer, write separate reports.

                                                                                                                                 
PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS:
Light Work:  Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negotiable amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.  Job involves sitting most of the time and if walking and standing required, only occasionally.
